The M365 Azure Virtual Desktop Service offers the Customer centralised services for the operation, maintenance and support of application and workplace infrastructures within a Microsoft Azure data centre. These services are based on technologies of the remote desktop services and the virtualised Windows desktop environments.
The scope of the service management occurs in accordance with the service characteristics and SLA defined in the contract.
Swisscom provides the service on the basis of Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, and other cloud services, which are prerequisites for the provisioning of the service.
To start with M365 Azure Virtual Desktop, the following prerequisites have to be implemented:
- M365 Fondation onboarding done
- A Global Administrator Account (for conseting the AVD Application)
- Suitable Microsoft licenses (including Microsoft Intune and Azure Virtual Desktop licenses)
- Dedicated Subcription for AVD
